:: Tips ::

1.

Do not clean wheels when they are still hot or warm from driving. High temperatures can accelerate chemical reactions which may lead to inadvertent staining.

2.

Clean and rinse one wheel at a time. This prevents the cleaner from drying on the wheel. Clean the wheels prior to washing your vehicle. This prevents the water from drying on your clean paint and will give you time to adequately clean the wheels. If neglect has left a heavy accumulation of road grime, brake dust, corrosion, etc. agitating the surface with a brush will be necessary.

3.

Be careful of bristles that are too hard as they can scratch the finish. If you don’t have a wheel brush you can use a 3.5-inch-wide paint brush as the bristles are very soft and flexible. If you live in an area of cold winters or extremely high humidity near the ocean, you’re probably familiar with the corrosive effects of salt on chrome, aluminum and painted surfaces. To help alleviate corrosive, it’s a good idea to protect your wheels with a high-quality wax. It takes no time at all to apply wax to the wheel and will greatly improve the appearance and longevity.

4.

Failure to properly clean and detail your wheels can lead to premature deterioration as well as loss of visual appeal. Using the right product will ensure the long-term durability of the finish of your wheels.
